Bulgaria's national tourism portal has a new name and web address, the Ministry of Tourism said. Previously, the site was called BulgariaTravel.org, and it is now VisitBulgaria.com. According to Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh, this is the first step in the overall process of rebranding and digital transformation of the country’s presentation to the world. The overall strategy also includes the development of a mobile application.
''The ultimate goal is to make the Bulgarian tourism portal not just an information website, but a true digital platform that inspires, facilitates the choice of destination and creates an experience even before the trip begins'', said Minister Borshosh. According to Miroslav Borshosh, the change significantly improves Bulgaria’s recognition in the online space.
