The Ministry of Health is preparing a programme of home testing for colon and cervical cancer. According to BNR reporter Elena Beykova, the tests will be free and distributed by general practitioners and regional health inspectorates. The campaign is expected to start in October.
The cervical cancer tests are intended for women aged 25 to 65, while the colon cancer tests are intended for men and women aged 45 to 75.
