A festive concert of the Otets Paissii Performing Folk Ensemble will be held in Nessebar today, as the ensemble celebrates 70 years since its establishment. The formation is the oldest Bulgarian folklore ensemble in the USA at the Bulgarian Macedonian National Educational and Culture Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. President Rumen Radev will also be a guest at the event.
During the concert, Rumen Radev will award the folklore dance ensemble with the Presidential Badge of Honor for its significant contribution to the preservation and development of Bulgarian folklore art, as well as for the popularization of Bulgarian culture and the strengthening of cultural exchange internationally, the presidency announced.
