Bulgaria's Minister of Labor and Social Policy Borislav Gutsanov and the Ambassador of Vietnam H.E. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngyuet discussed the possibilities of signing a new Memorandum between the two countries in the field of labor and social policy with an emphasis on the labor market and training.

"I am very impressed by Vietnam's achievements in economic terms and we are ready for any kind of cooperation that will be beneficial for both countries. Bulgaria has an urgent need for personnel for its economy, and here we are talking not only about unqualified labor, but also about qualified specialists who could come to Bulgaria," Gutsanov said.

Currently, only about 230 Vietnamese citizens work in Bulgaria. "Extremely few compared to what was in the past. We agree to find a new way to deepen relations between the two countries for investments, exchange and training of personnel," Gutsanov commented.

Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet recalled that this year marks 75 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. She shared that during this period, about 30,000 Vietnamese have studied in Bulgaria and many of them hold high positions in their country, which is a valuable asset for the relations between the two countries.
