On Friday, morning temperatures will range from 10 to 15°C, with 10°C in Sofia. Rain is expected in the western regions in the early hours. During the day, skies will remain cloudy as rain moves from west to east, gradually easing in the afternoon with clouds beginning to break. Winds will shift to the west-northwest, reaching moderate strength, with strong gusts in the Danube and Upper Thracian plains. A yellow warning has been issued for strong winds across most of the country. Highs will range from 19 to 24°C, around 19°C in Sofia.
Along the Black Sea coast, skies will be cloudy with rain. Maximum temperatures will reach 20–23°C, while sea temperatures will be between 17 and 19°C. Sea conditions are expected to be moderate, with waves of 2–3 on the Beaufort scale.
In the mountains, expect cloudy weather with rain, which will turn to snow above 2,200 metres. Winds will be strong to gale force from the west-southwest. Maximum temperatures will reach around 12°C at 1,200 metres and around 5°C at 2,000 metres.
On Saturday, it will be partly cloudy with isolated showers in northwestern Bulgaria in the afternoon. Winds will weaken. Although highs are expected to drop by 4–5°C, temperatures will remain warm for this time of year.
