On 29 October at 7.30pm, the National Gallery will host 'London Legends', an enchanting evening of Baroque music. The programme will feature sonatas and concertos by Handel, Veracini, Mercadante, Geminiani and Vivaldi.

The performance will bring together five young virtuoso musicians from the UK-based ensemble Arcangelo: Leo Appel (violin), Carmen Lavada Johnson-Pájaro (violin), Jaume Pueyo Solà (viola), Francisco Javier Sánchez Castillo (bassoon) and Martin Egidi (cello). They will be joined by harpsichordist Arianna Radaelli, bassoonist Sabina Yordanova, and violinist Zefira Valova, creating a rich tapestry of sound that evokes the elegance and drama of London’s Baroque scene.

The concert is part of the 19th Art of the Baroque Festival (1 October–19 November) and is supported by the Sofia Municipality.
