Some 370,000 tourists visited the Bulgarian resorts during the Christmas holidays, which is an increase of about 3 percent in comparison to the same period last year, the Ministry of Tourism has announced. Revenues just from hotel rooms reached 20 million euros, which is also an increase of about 3%. The biggest Bulgarian mountain resorts - Borovets, Pamporovo and Bansko enjoyed successful Christmas and New Year and expect a successful winter season as a whole. A growth has been marked in the number of tourists from the UK, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Macedonia, Moldova, and Russia, it was also reported.
