Poland is a very important partner of Bulgaria and we assess positively the development of relations between the two countries in the context of European and Euro-Atlantic values we share. This is what Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said during an official meeting with President of Poland Andrzej Duda, which took place in Sofia. A topic of discussion between the two was also cooperation between the countries in the spheres of defense and security. During the meeting Borissov and Duda discussed trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Poland. The Bulgarian Prime Minister pointed out that this country also relied on Poland for common interests in the sphere of energy security to stay in the focus of the European Commission when establishing the Energy Union.
