After a meeting in Berlin where Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov met with German Chancellor Merkel, Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern, Prime Minister of Croatia Tihomir Oreskovic and PM of Slovenia Miro Cerar, it was reported that another meeting would be organised.

Participants have been invited by Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern to discuss the issue again in Vienna in September. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban could also join the talks, it was reported. The focus of today's discussions fell on relations with Turkey and the refugee crisis.

Prime Minister Borissov called for a pan-European solution to the refugee issue and for manifestation of genuine solidarity between EU Member States. Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern insisted that no compromises in the EU policy towards Ankara should be made.
