The wars of the future will be predominantly hybrid and information technologies and non-military means will be more widely used in them, Bulgaria’s Deputy Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov pointed out at a scientific conference named Future Armed Forces 2040 held in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia. This sets new requirements on the country’s armed forces, Deputy Minister Zapryanov went on to say. The full interoperability between the Bulgarian armed forces and its NATO allies would allow us to face the future challenges.
