Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Rumen Porodzanov announced in Silistra that the construction has begun of a fence along the land border with Romania.
Minister Porodzanov is in Silistra for a sitting of the coordination centre for identifying measures to minimize the danger of the spread of swine fever across the Bulgarian-Romanian border. A barbed wire fence, the aim of which is to stop wild animals from crossing over the border, is being put up in three sections.
