The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Bulgarian citizens planning to travel to the UK in 2020 should possess and carry a valid international bio metric passport. If the UK left the EU without an agreement in 2020, London would gradually restrict the ability to travel to and from the UK using just ID cards.
