Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria go over 1,000

In the last 24 hours, 49 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Bulgaria, the National Crisis Staff reported. 21 of them are admitted to hospitals. The total number of Covid-19 infections in the country has reached 1015, which makes the increase over the past 24 hours at 5.1%. 

Two persons have died in the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 47.

In the town of Bansko which was under a 14-day quarantine, 820 residents have been tested since the start of the mass coronavirus testing at the resort. 60 people tested positive for antibodies, which is 7.3% of all tested. There is a prevalence of cases of people who have had the disease more than a month ago and have developed antibodies. Only five people tested positive for a fresh viral infection.
