Sofia to host international beach volleyball tournament

An international beach volleyball tournament will be held in Sofia. The competition will take place on the brand new world-class beach volleyball courts near Pancharevo Lake.

The men's competition will take place from August 6 to 9 and the women's - August 26 to 29. The event includes some of the best athletes in the world - elite volleyball players and Olympic competitors in beach volleyball, such as Reid Priddy and others. The prize fund for men and women is 25,000 euros. Organizers as well as the President of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation Lyubomir Ganev made the Minister of Youth and Sports Krasen Kralev acquainted with the preparations for the tournament.
