Anti-government protests in Bulgaria continue for the 29th consecutive day. Three key intersections in Sofia remain blocked because of the tent camps with several tents inhabited by a dozen protesters, BNR reports. The blockades create transport difficulties for non-protesting citizens.
Protesters continue to demand the resignation of the entire government, the chief prosecutor and the director of Bulgarian National Television.
On the 29th day of the protests, dissatisfied citizens from Lovech announced that they were planning to block traffic on the Sofia-Varna road, BNR reports.
Protesters will block 4 boulevards on Saedinenie Square in Plovdiv from 8.00 pm to 9.30 pm.
Bulgarians in Germany have convened a demonstration in front of the Chancellery in Berlin, calling on Chancellor Angela Merkel to come out with a position on the events in Bulgaria.
