The leader of “Yes, Bulgaria” party Hristo Ivanov has submitted a letter to Premier Boyko Borissov requesting the opening of the personal files of the transition period of the past 30 years.

In a video published on Facebook, Hristo Ivanov said that key institutions should be cleared from dependent people and people vulnerable to corruption pressure and extortion. In his view, most crimes perpetrated since the beginning of the transition period remain unpunished and the lack of justice is acutely felt by the Bulgarian society.
