It is important that we have the ability to trust young people, said Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev in Svishtov. At the Aleko Konstantinov House-Museum, President Radev, Vice President Iliana Iotova and British Ambassador to Bulgaria Rob Dixon awarded Bulgarian students who achieved gold and silver level at the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award.

The award is given for personal development in which every young person can challenge himself or herself, change his or her attitudes and become a better version of himself or herself. 62 students from 12 schools were awarded, the largest group being from Svishtov.
In front of the house-museum Aleko Konstantinov there were two groups of citizens - one group with supporters of the Bulgarian head of state and another group holding slogans for his resignation.
