Dozens of representatives of the Armenian community in Bulgaria protested in front of the Azerbaijani embassy in Sofia. At the peaceful demonstration, they spoke out against the bloodshed in Nagorno-Karabakh and against Baku's actions against the Armenian-ruled separatist region of Azerbaijan.

The protesting Armenians told the Bulgarian National Radio that after 11 days of fighting, attacks on civilians, bombed churches, broken houses and numerous civilian casualties, it is right for the world to keep its word and recognize the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh.
