The government's measures taken because of the pandemic are extremely correct. This is stated in the conclusions of the IMF mission in Bulgaria, which means that we are on the right track, Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said at the beginning of the cabinet meeting today. Borissov stressed that IMF's report recommends that even more funds be given for education and that an additional 350m euros should be invested in this area next year, BTA reports.

The IMF mission in Bulgaria does not expect a sharp increase in unemployment due to measures in the field of employment. According to experts, the fiscal deficit will be lower than planned, and the balance will remain in surplus, the prime minister said.
