The Nikola Petrov art gallery in Vidin is to light up green on 16 and 17 March. By doing this, Vidin is joining the global initiative of the Republic of Ireland to mark its national day, St. Patrick’s Day on 17 March.
As part of the initiative some of the world’s notable buildings will light up green. The invitation to join the initiative was extended to municipality mayor Tsvetan Tsenkov by the Ambassador of Ireland to Bulgaria Martina Feeney.
The Vidin gallery will be one of more than 450 impressive buildings to light up green for two consecutive nights, BNR-Radio Vidin reports.
