Vice President Iliana Yotova is to open a photo exhibition today dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the organized Thracian movement.

The beginnings of the national-liberation movement were laid after Macedonia, Eastern and Western Thrace were left under the direct rule of the Sultan by force of the Treaty of Berlin of 1878.

The event will take place at the Central Military Club in Sofia at the initiative of the Union of Thracian Associations.
