Fire breaks out in care home near Varna, 4 persons die

Four persons have died and several others were admitted to hospital after a large fire broke out at St. Nicholas care home for senior citizens near the coastal city of Varna. The cause of the accident is still unknown. According to people employed at the nursing home, the fire started from the second floor - from the room of an 89-year-old man who was admitted to the care home two days ago in poor mental state.

The entire second floor was filled with smoke. 70 residents of the nursing home were evacuated.
