Bulgaria is able to cope with the coming crises without higher budget deficit. This is what caretaker Minister of Finance Assen Vassilev said in parliament.
He presented the parameters of the budget update for the current year. It envisages that by the end of 2021 the budget will have 1.074 billion euros more than previously planned revenues, as EUR 980 million will be provided for more expenses to address the pandemic wave. 220 million euros will be provided to aid the business and 171 million euros are earmarked for healthcare.
