A neonatal ambulance, purchased with the help of the “Caps for the future” campaign, has arrived in Plovdiv.

The ambulance was donated to the ER of the “Plovdiv” University General Hospital for Active Treatment. It took 600 tons of recycled bottle caps, collected in the space of one year, to buy the ambulance which costs 200,000 Leva (around 100,000 euro). The vehicle will be used for children at risk in Plovdiv but also in the region. "There are around 700 instances a year which require transportation by a neonatal ambulance for children", said Dr. Ivan Stoynov, director of the emergency medical centre in the city
