Election campaign for second round of presidential election kicks off

The election campaign for the runoff of the presidential election has begun. The Central Election Commission has made public the final results from the election for president on 14 November. The candidates running in the runoff presidential election on 21 November are Rumen Radev with running mate Iliana Yotova and Anastas Gerdzhikov with running mate Nevyana Miteva.

The voter turnout on 14 November was 40.5%. A total of 2,687,307 people went to the polls.

With 100% of the tally sheets processed, We Continue the Change wins the early election for parliament.

The results of the election for parliament are as follows:

  • We Continue the Change - 25.67%
  • GERB-SDS - 22.74%
  • Movement for Rights and Freedoms – 13.00%
  • Bulgarian Socialist Party - 10.21%
  • There Is Such a People - 9.52%
  • Democratic Bulgaria - 6.37%
  • Vazrazhdane - 4.86%
