Weather forecast for Saturday, 12 March: Icy Saturday, temperatures begin to rise on Sunday

On Saturday the weather will continue cold and cloudy. Minimum temperatures will range between minus 10° C., and minus 5° C., for Sofia around minus 10° C. During the day the clouds will temporarily scatter. There may be snow showers on higher ground. Daytime temperatures will reach minus 1° C., minus 4° C., for Sofia around minus 1° C.

Over the mountains there will be considerable clouds with snow showers. There will be a moderate to strong wind from the Northeast. Daytime temperatures at an altitude of 1,200 m. around minus 11° C., at 2,000 m. minus 16° C.

On Sunday daytime temperatures are expected to rise by 2-3 degrees.
