The real picture of corruption at the highest levels of power remains blurred and the pending criminal proceedings do not reflect the true state of high-level public sector corruption, according to the report of the Anti-Corruption Fund (ACF) for 2021. ACF report shows that in the past year not a single corruption investigation was opened and developed against a high-ranking official.
The ratio of convictions to acquittals in high profile cases is 3 convictions to 14 acquittals, according to the report.
