Bulgaria reports 9 Covid-relared deaths in past day, pandemic indicators decline

1,636 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 7,596 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, 682 down on the previous day. The positivity rate is 21.5%, down from 23.6% the day before, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. The number of active cases in the country is down by 926 to 24,989.

173 is the number of new hospital admissions, 131 of them or 76% among the unvaccinated. The number of patients being treated in hospital is down by 20 to 1,064, of them 48 in intensive care.

Nine patients with established Covid-19 have died in the past day, eight of them were not vaccinated. The number of recoveries reported is 2,553.

2,933 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past 24 hours.
