The Bulgarian government and ex-PM Kiril Petkov in dispute over commissioned tanker with American gas

Slot capacity in Greece has long been occupied by private companies that resell it, but at significantly higher prices. This is the reason why Bulgaria's caretaker government decided to contract only one of the total of 7 tankers with American liquefied natural gas offered to the government of Kiril Petkov. This was announced in a press release by the Ministry of Energy.
The Ministry of Energy has denied former Prime Minister Kiril Petkov's assertions in an interview with bTV today that there were free slots in Greece, but the caretaker government did not use the opportunity. "If that was the case, it raises doubts as to why the regular government simply did not confirm them," the energy ministry said.
