At a briefing today, GERB’s leader Boyko Borissov said that his party would rely on negotiations with political parties through a contact group of people with undisputed Euro-Atlantic orientation in an effort to form a new government. The contact group will start working after the formation of the 48th National Assembly and will regularly report on the results.

The contact group will hold meetings with all pro-European and democratic forces to seek agreement on the principles and the priorities of a future government, in order to overcome the crises and stabilize the country, the office of Rossen Plevneliev (President of Bulgaria between 2012 and 2017) announced. Rossen Plevneliev will be also part of the contact group.
