New initiative seeks ways to reuse 7 tonnes of plastic waste from the Black Sea

On the International Black Sea Action Day, October 31, the Hack-A-Plastic initiative will begin, with which creative ideas and projects will be sought for the reuse of 7 tonnes of plastic waste removed from the Black Sea, BTA reported. 

In 2020, the company "Black Sea Catch" and the fishing association "Black Sea Sunrise" started "The Most Valuable Catch" campaign, within the framework of which ships managed to collect over 7 tonnes of waste from the sea, including about 4.5 tonnes of old fishing nets of plastic.
