Discussion on the future of natural gas in Southeast Europe takes place in Sofia

A round table on the topic of "The Future of Natural Gas in Southeastern Europe" takes place on March 28 in Sofia and is organized by the Center for the Study of Democracy.

An analysis of the long-term visions for the security of natural gas supplies and the prospects for accelerating the energy transition and reducing gas consumption in Bulgaria, Romania and Greece, will be presented. The most effective strategies for the complete elimination of energy dependence on Russia will be among the issues discussed.

Leading European and American experts will participate in the forum, including Geoffrey Pyatt, Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Energy Resources, U.S. Department of State, who will take part in the discussion online.
