20 years in prison for Georgi Semerdzhiev who caused deadly accident on central Sofia boulevard

The first-instance court has found Georgi Semredjiev guilty of the grave road accident on a central Sofia boulevard in July 2022, in which two young women died. 

Semerdzhiev received 20 years in prison on the following charges - recklessly causing the death of more than one person, driving under the influence of amphetamine and methamphetamine, possession of drugs, driving with a false driver's license, false license plates. 

In his last statement in court, Semerdzhiev asked to be acquitted.
