Politicians from the coalition We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (PP-DB) were wiretapped during working meetings and leadership councils in parliament and party headquarters, the co-chairman of the We Continue the Change Kiril Petkov announced. In his words, “this was done by the services and the deep state to derail the talks on the formation of a regular cabinet".
According to Kiril Petkov, the former Minister of Sports Radostin Vassilev was involved in the eavesdropping, because We Continue the Change refused to nominate him again for a minister. According to the coalition We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria, on May 26, at a press conference, Radostin Vassilev is to present part of the manipulated recordings of the talks on the formation of a government and leave the parliamentary group of PP-DB. In Kiril Petkov’s words, “the deep state was involved in the manipulation, because the heads of services fear that they will be replaced by the future government of We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria".
