After several successful joint concerts in the country, three of the most interesting Bulgarian alternative bands will perform in a joint concert tonight in London's The 100 Club. No More Many More, Cool Den and Kerana and the Cosmonauts take the stage of the legendary club on June 16 at 7pm to meet their fans in Great Britain.
Bulgarian compatriots who live in London and love Bulgarian music will have the opportunity to enjoy the symbiosis between three contemporary Bulgarian rock bands that sing in their native language.
Free, daring and unyielding, Kerana and the Cosmonauts, Cool Den and No More Many More clearly express their social position while their lyrics, seemingly a reflection of everyday life, reveal deep truths.
The most experienced of this trio, No More Many More, play alternative rock with spectacular hip-hop elements and social texts in which they are not afraid to express their strong and active civic position and opinion. Their signature melodies and male duets feature on all three of their current albums. The band is currently working on their fourth album, due out in 2023.
Unruly rebels and creative innovators, Cool Den are the youngest of the trio. In their short history, they have already released two successful albums. "It may sound funny, but music should always be organic and natural. To me, it has always been natural for some social topic to stimulate my creative energy," Nikola Simeonov, frontman and guitarist of the band says.
The brilliance and energy of their front lady is an emblem of Kerana and the Cosmonauts who are quickly becoming one of the most popular and beloved current Bulgarian rock groups with lyrics in Bulgarian, who keep making new songs. Their "boutique gourmet", as Kerana calls their music, has been reaching an ever wider audience and definitely conquering the Bulgarian rock scene. Proof of this is their brand new song "Krug" (Circle), which is in the BNR TOP 20 chart.
