“Lukoil Neftochim Burgas exports petroleum products, made out of Russian crude oil, in strict observance of the frameworks of the established quotas and restrictions,” reads a position by the company released to the media.
Every batch of oil is exported under the control and after preliminary approval by the Customs Agency, the position reads further. “Lukoil Neftochim Burgas will provide any assistance possible for a professional and impartial investigation because it will refute all false claims against the company,” the position reads further.
The company issued this position after MPs Delyan Peevski from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), and Delyan Dobrev from GERB submitted a notification to the prosecutor’s office calling for an investigation of Lukoil for processing and selling refined fuel products from Russian oil abroad, including in countries of the EU.
