Three talented Bulgarian women are among the winners of the 2023 Awards For Women in Science. At the ceremony, Vice President Iliana Iotova said that women carry the code of life deep within themselves. Prof. Genka Petrova, Deputy Minister of Education said that when one devotes themselves to science, it becomes their destiny.
The winners are Rosita Kokotanekova for the project "Participation in the Comet Interceptor/Comet Nucleus Evolution Mission". Nikoleta Kircheva received award for the project "Development of Alternative Antibiotic Therapy with Emphasis on Metals with Antibacterial Activity".
