21-years-old Aleksandar Petrov has diverse interests that combine music, poetry and... medicine. At a very young age, he showed a singing talent that he continues to develop. As a singer, he is known from the television screen mainly because of his participation in season 9 of "The Voice of Bulgaria", in which he finished in the prestigious third place. In addition, Aleksandar writes poetry. At the age of 14 he published his debut book entitled "Afternoon Smile". And he is currently a student at the Medical University - Varna. He perceives all these activities as art and is convinced that they even complement each other, because all three create and support life. He chose to write the lyrics for his debut song himself:
"I think that in order to be able to convey a story as authentically as possible, you need to have at least a little piece of yourself in it, and the vocals alone are not enough. To be honest, I was offered lyrics for this song, but I didn't feel it as my own and I asked myself - ‘who can better tell my personal story than myself?!"
The song is special because the pain conveyed through the lyrics was personally experienced by the artist. It outlines the circle of love between two lovers who failed to join their souls at the right moment.
Aleksandar Petrov does not write his poetry in rhymes but relies on white verse, which he wants to be seen as a trademark of the songs he creates. And while the lyrics of "Risuvah te” don't rhyme, they are easy to remember and have their own pulsation.
The music and arrangement of the song are the work of Dimitar Atanasov, known from the duo Dimitar and Hristo.
