Sunny and hot weather expected on Monday

It will be sunny and hot on Monday. Cumulus clouds will form over the eastern parts of the country with no chance of precipitation. Daytime highs will range from 36°C to 41°C, for Sofia around 37°C.

It will be sunny along the Black Sea coast with a temporary increase in cloudiness. There will be moderate easterly and northeasterly winds. Maximum temperatures will reach 30°C-35°C. The seawater temperature is 27°C. Sea state 2-3.

It will be sunny and hot over the mountains. Cumulus clouds will form over Strandzha, Sakar and the eastern part of the Balkan Mountain Range in the afternoon hours with no chance of precipitation. There will be moderate northeasterly wind. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters- around 30°C, at 2,000 meters- around 24°C.

Over the next two days, the weather will continue very hot. Daytime highs will range from 37°C to 42°C.
