"BSP - United Left" and "Vazrazhdane" opposed the notification submitted by caretaker Premier Dimitar Glavchev regarding the upcoming signing of an Agreement on Security Cooperation between Bulgaria and Ukraine for the next 10 years.
BSP MP Borislav Gutsanov called the agreement "shameful" and demanded that Premier Glavchev guarantee that he would not sign the agreement during his meeting with the Ukrainian president on December 19. Kostadin Kostadinov emphasized that the position of the parliamentary group of Vazrazhdane is that Bulgaria should not to sign the agreement, because it "harms the interests of our country, endangers its security and anyone who signs it should be held criminally liable for treason."
