Weather forecast for January 1

2025 comes with morning fog, low temperatures and sun during the day

On Wednesday, the first day of the new year, the weather will remain unchanged. The night sky will be clear and it will be mostly sunny during the day. There will be fog in the valleys but in the afternoon visibility will temporarily improve in most places. The lowest temperature in most places in the morning will range between minus 5° to 0°C. The highest temperatures will be between 0 and 13°C; in the capital -around 0°C.

It will be sunny in the mountains with light wind from the southwest. The highest temperature at an altitude of 1200 m will be 7°C; at 2000 m. around 2°C.

At the Black Sea coast it will be sunny with light southeasterly wind. The lowest temperatures will be 3-4°C. Maximum temperatures will reach 7 to 10°C. Sea water temperature is 8-9°C.
