Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 14 January 2025

Cold weather, sunshine in the northern parts expected in Bulgaria on Tuesday

On Tuesday, the cloudiness will still break and decrease from the north,  it will be mostly sunny in Northern Bulgaria. Overcast skies are expected in Southeastern Bulgaria and the Rhodopes, where light snow will still fall in places.

The weather on Tuesday will stay cold with minimum temperatures between minus 5°C and 0°C, in the capital Sofia - minus 5°C. 

Daytime highs will range from minus 2°C to 3°C, in the capital - around minus 2°C.

It will be cloudy and foggy in the mountains. In many places there will still be snowfall. The wind will be moderate to strong from the east. The maximum temperature at 1,200 m. will be minus 5°C, at 2,000 m. - about minus 8°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, clouds will break and decrease, on the northern coast to mostly sunny patches. Maximum temperatures will be between 2 and 5°C.

It will stay cold on Wednesday. Over Northern Bulgaria there will still be scattered clouds and sun. 

On the Balkans from the north, the cloudiness will decrease. Over the southern regions of the peninsula it will stay cloudy with snowfall. Rainfall is expected in the western part of the Black Sea and on the Greek islands.

Highs will reach 12° in Athens, 3°C in Bucharest, 2°C in Belgrade, and 9°C in Istanbul.
