Drop in temperatures expected on Sunday

On Sunday, the minimum temperatures will be from 10 to 15°C. In Sofia, it will be around 12°C. A cold front will pass through the country. Cloudiness will be variable, often significant, and from west to east there will be short, temporarily intense rain showers. After lunch, in many places, the precipitation will be accompanied by thunderstorms. The wind will be oriented from west-northwest and cold air will invade with it. 

Maximum temperatures will be between 18 and 23°C, in the capital - around 19°C.

In the mountains, cloudiness will be more often significant, and from west to east there will be short, temporarily intense rain showers. A moderate and strong wind will blow from west-southwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. will be around 13°C, at 2,000 meters - around 7°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, cloudiness will be more often significant and there will be rain showers. A moderate southwest wind will blow, which will be oriented from west-northwest during the day. Maximum temperatures will be from 16° to 26°. Sea water temperature is 8-9°. Sea waves will be 1-2 points.

On Monday, with the wind increasing from the northwest, then from the northeast, the cold snap will continue. It will be cloudy, with precipitation.

It will be cloudy in the Balkans. It will rain in the western and central regions of the peninsula, and during the day there will be showers and thunderstorms in the eastern regions as well. Temperatures will start to drop.

In Athens it will be 27°C, in Bucharest - 22°C. In Belgrade it will be 15°C, in Istanbul it will be 24°C.
