The police in the town of Veliko Tarnovo (Central North Bulgaria) detained a tourist bus driver with more than 2 permille of alcohol in his blood while on duty.

The driver was detained for 24 hours. The results of his blood test are awaited and it depends on them whether the prosecutor's office will indict him and impose a 72-hour detention measure.

Meanwhile, a 24-year-old man was caught driving with 4.10 permille of alcohol in a residential area of Radomir. He has also been detained for up to 24 hours.
