"A group of Bulgarian citizens has been successfully evacuated from Israeli territory by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the assistance of our embassy in Tel Aviv. For the safety of the travelers, more complete information about the operation will be provided after its completion," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told media.

The Bulgarians are currently traveling by bus to Egypt, but have not yet been allowed into the country, the BNR's "Horizont" program reported. Among the evacuated is the team that presented a film at the "Bulgarian Soul of the Holy Land" festival in Israel and remained stranded in Tel Aviv after the escalation of the conflict.
