BNB issues a silver commemorative coin dedicated to the 175 birth anniversary of Ivan Vazov

On July 7, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) puts into circulation a silver commemorative coin titled "175 Years Since the Birth of Ivan Vazov", BNB announced on its website. The coin is part of the "Bulgarian National Revival" series. The silver coin has a face value of 10 BGN and will be sold at a price of 168 BGN. The mintage is limited to 4,000 pieces. The artistic design was created by Svetlin Balezdrov.

The obverse of the coin depicts the emblem of the BNB and the year ''1879'', a stylized open book, the face value "10 leva" and the year of issue "2025". The reverse side depicts Ivan Vazov, a laurel wreath, and a lyre-shaped book. The coin will be sold only at the Bulgarian National Bank. Each customer may purchase only one coin.
