Four police officers under investigation for inflicting bodily harm during last year’s protests: Sofia regional prosecutor’s office

Four people who were police officers at the time of last year’s anti-government protests are under investigation for causing bodily harm in the performance of their duties, the Sofia regional prosecutor’s office has announced.

65 pre-trial proceedings have been launched for hooliganism and personal injury, the prosecutor’s office says. 24 of them have been completed and have been submitted to court, in 4 cases a judicial decision has been enforced.
