Maria Petrova elected Second Vice President of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Technical Committee at the International Gymnastics Federation

Three-time rhythmic gymnastics world champion Maria Petrova was elected Second Vice President of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Technical Committee at the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG). On November 6, Petrova was elected a member of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Technical Committee.  

On Saturday, Maria Petrova and Natalia Bulanova from Azerbaijan had an equal number of votes- 49. However, Petrova won by 70 to 46 votes at today’s runoff and became the Second Vice-President of FIG’s Rhythmic Gymnastics Technical Committee.
