According to PM Petkov, Bulgaria has three alternative sources of gas if supplies from Russia are cut off. "This facility can bring 3 bcm, which is Bulgaria's approximate consumption. Kiril Petkov reminded that the purpose of the interconnector between Bulgaria and Greece was to link the gas transmission networks of the two countries and provide access to the Southern Gas Corridor and a number of new sources of natural gas.
