Photo: archive

As a whole, Bulgarians are not satisfied with their working conditions, low pay and high stress levels in the workplace. Even in the sector where salaries are highest – the IT sector, 65% say they are underpaid. The highest percentage of dissatisfied staff is in public administration – almost 90%. 70% of the respondents say they would change jobs for a salary that is higher by between one-fifth and 50%. Flexible working hours and regular bonuses are among the most appreciated job perks.

The data are from a work satisfaction survey conducted in different sectors by a leading career and personal development platform
